How DARE You... Lie To Me About Climate Change (Part III)

Climate Activists and their seedy connections.

Chris

Jan 25, 2020

Thursday was about the birth of the climate change movement. Yesterday we layered on what the critics are saying and their competing science on the earth's climate. Today, we connect-the-dots on the major climate activists who have become household names. What better place to start than the controversial girl in Sweden who has become a global celebrity, essentially overnight. How did that happen?

TIME Magazine’s “Person of the Year” is a truant, teenage girl still performing temper tantrums. And if you've already given up interest in what TIME Magazine has to say, then contemplate that she was also considered for a Nobel Peace Prize and was invited to speak at the United Nations Climate Action Summit in 2019. For a young girl getting so much attention, I don’t see anything to be impressed about. Miss Thunberg demonstrates a lack of intellectual experience, knowledge, and maturity, (possible for a teenager to possess but is not evident with Miss Thunberg).

For starters, much of the content published by Greta Thunberg is either written by her father or other adult climate activists. After a Facebook glitch this month, Greta released a public statement walking back the scandal. She also requires not one, but two other activist opinion writers to write an op-ed on the topic - in which she is supposed to be such a revolutionary figure for - that she deserves grandeur awards and recognitions.

The language she uses to instill fear in young children everywhere is unacceptable and has a severe effect on many immature minds. When she isn’t shouting about extinction, she is talking about “colonial, racist, and patriarchal systems of oppression.” She also was caught using an authoritarian expression used in reference to denote “assassinating your political enemies”. Yes, that sounds like the kind of language used by a sixteen-year-old.

When Greta Thunberg came to Canada, she was met by David Suzuki at both the Vancouver and Montreal climate marches. He has publicly endorsed her, used her as evidence we should let sixteen-year-olds vote, and has said, “We owe Greta and the youth more than a Nobel prize.” I wouldn’t be surprised if in the lobby of the Suzuki Foundation stands a larger-than-life statue of the Swedish girl. You can find an “expert article” on their website, Why Greta Thunberg inspires me.

David Sukuzi has been Canada’s pain-in-the-ass since the mid-1970s. More recently though his condescending and entitled personality makes him especially unbearable to listen to. Especially when you realize that his scolding speeches lecturing Canadians to consume less are soaking with hypocrisy.

As reported by the Toronto Sun in October 2013, Suzuki owns four homes including two homes in Kitsilano (a Vancouver suburb). He travels to speaking events that he gets to by plane. And when Suzuki reprimands us that the world is overcrowded, he’ll make sure not to mention that he himself has five children.

David Suzuki is a lot of things; academic (BA, Ph.D. Zoology), broadcaster, and environmental activist (and a few other things we’ll keep kosher for now). However, DAVID SUZUKI IS NOT A SCIENTIST! He also has no credentials in the fields of climatology or environmental science. Somehow because David Suzuki has hosted some science-related programs on CBC, the Canadian public was duped into thinking he knew what he was talking about. In 1985, his purpose for the cause would be determined when he received a United Nations Environment Programme Medal. The CBC, ever since, has aided in his assumed identity as someone with expertise on this issue.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation operates as a propaganda machine. In an effort to be relevant, CBC jumps on stories without any kind of research, fact-checking, or journalism ethics. It was almost too good to be true when the CBC heard, “11,000 scientists sign declaration of climate change” but nonetheless they ran that store like a hot shower and only one media outlet appeared to fact check the statement.

Rebel News’ Ezra Levant reported that while digging into just the Canadian names on the published list of “scientists”, he discovered that anyone with an internet connection could sign the declaration. Signatures included those from occupations like a hospital data analyst, retired doctor, teacher, lawyer, design engineer, and occupational therapist. Not a lot of experience with climate science at all. Without fact-checking, Canadians will just hear the repeated, “11,000 scientists” which seemed to be the tactic of the CBC on-air talent who made sure to reiterate that sentiment without any journalist integrity.

This is how the third group in the debate works. If they repeat something enough, whether it’s a media news scroll or rehearsed word salad in the House of Commons, “I said if you actually say it louder, we’ve learned in the House of Commons, if you repeat it, if you say it louder, if that’s you’re talking point, people will totally believe it!” (Catherine McKenna, 2019)

When you have politicians like our former Minister of Environment and Climate Change making statements like that, and then you have Canada’s state broadcaster hooking for more funds so they can live to see another news cycle, it becomes very clear that those politicians are corrupt and the media can’t be trusted. Just another reason why we should #DefundCBC [See blog: Crown Corporations (Part I)].

Justin Trudeau uses the CBC like his own personal Periscope. The broadcaster is always on call whenever Trudeau has a photo opportunity. If he needs a boost in a tight election, they’ll target his opposition in a legal battle just to reiterate whose team they’re on.

Justin Trudeau is the king of all virtue signallers. If someone did something, somewhere, at some point in time, Trudeau is there to apologize for it. So naturally, he’s in his comfort zone to order Canadians to 'be better' when it comes to the climate and our carbon usage.

We have the kind of Prime Minister who would rather tell us we are bad little Canadians, rather than stand up for us. Canada is paying $30/tonne for our carbon usage. That price changes from country to country and some countries actually pay nothing at all. “Canada currently has one of the most ambitious carbon pricing programs in the world,” (New York Times, These Countries Have Prices on Carbon. Are They Working?).

Seems crazy right? Hold on, Elizabeth May says:

This lady is obsessed with the climate change topic. And that’s fine and dandy. But when you start promoting that our kids skip school for a strike on climate change, I have a problem with you being a public spokesperson… let alone a contender for the leader of this country. May strongly believes in the direction of the United Nations IPCC and according to her, the burdens being placed on Canadians are not nearly enough to meet those outrageous goals.

According to The Globe and Mail, Elizabeth May nearly retired from politics but couldn’t resist another opportunity to sermon her extreme followers and make Climate Change one of the biggest talking points of the 2019 election. She admits in a September 2019 CBC interview that she doesn’t much like politics but chose to stay in it “because I have to save the whole world and we’re running out of time.” If you ask me, during the election there was a lot of talking time wasted on how hard to screw Canadians with a carbon tax and forced carbon targets. Time, that could have been spent on more dire topics like the state of Canada’s immigration path, federal spending, and our economy.

Chatelaine finds Elizabeth May more inspiring than I do. They included her in a January 2019 article about politicians “Kick-Ass Clapbacks” and how they don’t have time for haters. This article essentially congratulations a group of female politicians who “don’t hold back” which I translate to hotheadedness, impulsiveness, and a general lack of class. You can’t write about big-mouthed politicians without giving due credit to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Chatelaine illustrates AOC as a fun, quirky congresswoman but the reality is, she says a lot of damaging things and promotes a very dangerous political standard. While performing her congresswoman duties, AOC made a very gross statement about climate change being the fault of one particular race.

AOC: Do you see largely that it is the global south communities of colour that may be bearing the brunt of the initial havoc from climate change?

Witness: Without a doubt, without a doubt.

AOC: And in terms of that wealth and people who are producing climate change, the folks that are responsible for the largest amount of emissions, or communities, or corporations, they tend to be predominantly…white, correct?

Witness: Yes, and every study backs that up

AOC is best known for her promotion of the outrageous Green New Deal which beyond being a bankruptcy plan to get rid of all cars, planes, hamburgers, and fossil fuels in general, it also includes social policies that have nothing related to the environment. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see why AOC is putting any weight she may have with Democratic voters, behind Bernie Sanders. She has endorsed him for the White House, and during the keynote speech at Sanders’ Spanish-language town hall in Las Vegas, last month admitted, “it’d be an honor to be vice president” even though she is too young for the position.

Bernie Sanders is the Democratic candidate with the most extreme climate alarmism. However, Sanders is slightly less misleading about hiding the social agenda he plans on implementing if he becomes President. Directly on his website, you can read about The Green New Deal and how, ”the climate crisis is not only the single greatest challenge facing our country; it is also our greatest opportunity to build a more just and equitable future, but we must act immediately.”

Bernie Sanders has a podcast called The Bernie Sanders Show, and after Al Gore’s second propaganda film, An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power, Al Gore appeared on Sanders’ show to discuss. There have been some curious folks wondering if Al Gore would put his name back in the mix for the upcoming US 2020 election. I think between Bernie Sanders leading the charge, and the rest of the Democrats bending over for similar policy changes, Americans are up to their eyelids in climate alarmists gunning for the top position in the land.

Al Gore is a sort of pioneer in what was originally the Global Warming movement and held the first congressional hearings on climate change and co-sponsored hearings on toxic waste and global warming. Gore served as Vice President to forty-fifth US President, Bill Clinton, but was unsuccessful in his own attempt to earn the presidency. In 2007, Gore received the Nobel Peace Prize in partnership with the IPCC for his participation in climate change activism. Environmental activism became Gore’s new legacy, especially with billionaire, George Soros padding the bank account of Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection to the tune of $30million over three years.

George Soros is someone who deserves an article entirely dedicated to the terrible, inhumane, and corrupt activities he has engaged in. He is the bank account for many polarizing political activist groups all over the world. As published by Breitbart in September 2019, Media Research Center’s Joseph Vasquez reported at least twenty-two of the left-wing activist groups listed as partners in the Global Climate Strike received just shy of $25million in funding from George Soros through his Open Society Network from 2000-2017.

These "Climate Strikes" happening all over the world are not grassroots events. While the concept seems farfetched, it should be apparent that a small group of global elites are trying to change governance worldwide, implement wealth redistribution, and are funding events meant to polarize a population and divide us.

Let’s close the circle with the claims that George Soros has funded Greta Thunberg’s pursuit to “hold political leaders to the wall.” Luisa-Marie Neubauer is the Youth Ambassador for international lobbying and campaigning organization, ONE Foundation, another Soros project. Ms. Neubauer, one way or another seems to be in all the same places as Greta.

These activists are all connected. They all rub shoulders at these climate conferences, promote each other’s propaganda, and work together to silence their critics. None of these people are actually environmentalists, in the true meaning of the word. The individuals mentioned above are the worst culprits of all the things they tell us to give up. No sooner than when these nine people reduce or eliminate air travel, grow their own food, and sell unnecessary homes, will I be convinced that they care about sustainable living and being environmentally conservative.

Tune in tomorrow for Part IV and the “solutions” these alarmists are suggesting along with the detrimental risks involved with the implementation of those proposed solutions.
